Case Study - Newspaper Planning & Placement
Client: A potential client seeking a new agency for their newspaper needs.
Challenge: The client hired PlattForm to take over the day-to-day details of managing their newspaper placement in order to increase lead flow and lower the cost-per-lead.
Action: PlattForm proposed placing newspaper for the market. Our Media team was able to make suggestions about placement on the page, alternative publications, and the best days to run. Our Print team also offered suggestions to revise the creative and make it stand out from the competition.
Results: Since PlattForm took over placement, the average CPL has lowered by an average of $40 (30%) and lead flow has increased by an average of 86 leads per month (40%). The client now has time to focus on promoting the brand within the community and on launching new initiatives at the school.
Case Study - Magazine Planning & Placement
Client: An East Coast-based educational foundation.
Challenge: The foundation offers a scholarship for active duty, reservist and honorably discharged military personnel and retired military veterans. They needed PlattForm to connect them with additional school participants for this program rewarding those who serve in the military.
Action: The stats showed that 93% of students who received the military scholarship enrolled in the school that granted the scholarship. 94% of those students who enrolled had either completed their degree or were still enrolled in the coursework toward their degree at the same school. Career College Central magazine appeared to be the prime source to reach career college decision makers. PlattForm designed an ad that spoke to these decision makers, featuring the impressive data above. This made for a strong message.
Results: Strong facts and an attractive color and design made for an effective ad that got a good response and gained another happy customer for PlattForm.

Case Study - Collateral Development
Client: A non-school client on the East Coast.
Challenge: The organization on the East Coast needed a booth to take to conferences and events around the country. PlattForm's design team needed to provide solid creative and branding for the client.
Action: The organization was familiar with our work, as they have seen our PlattForm booth at the annual CCA conference. The client specified their needs, and PlattForm provided insight as to which booth frame best suited their needs. We took the specs of the booth and developed the creative for the booth panels based on the client’s likes and dislikes and the overall goal of the booth.
Results: As the booth panels were in the final approval stage, the client then asked PlattForm to develop additional collateral pieces, such as brochures and other promotional products, that all had the same look and feel. The client was very satisfied with the outcome of their booth and all of the collateral pieces. The client now turns to PlattForm for affordable updates to collateral as their needs change, and they still maintain their branded look and feel.
Case Study - Strategic Partnership
Client: A Canadian career training school in 17 markets.
Challenge: The client was seeing an overall drop in NP lead flow. They tested new creative, but were not successful on a specific market basis up to this point. The client hired PlattForm to make the changes needed to increase lead flow moving into the next quarter.
Action: With the client, we reviewed the top competitors that affected multiple markets. We concluded that one particular competitor had a high share of voice and overall was spending 10-15% more in each market. After the first month of buying strategy testing, we developed new creative with a new look and feel and messaging focused on overall faculties with laundry lists of all the various programs.
Results: After implementing the new creative, lead flow increased for each campus. In some markets, lead flow increased by over 60%. The client was happy with results, and we continue to make revisions using the same creative look and feel. We continue to see steady lead flow under expected CPLs.
