For the first time ever, the Kansas City Business Journal has ranked PlattForm Advertising as the area’s #1 agency in terms of gross income on its annual Top 25 list of advertising agencies. That’s exactly what the Marketing/Communications team at PlattForm asked ourselves about eight months ago, when we discussed how to meet our goal of creating a big picture focused, “brand experience,” whether it be on the phone, in the building or online. In my career as a designer, I have had the opportunity to design toys, packaging, watches, souvenirs, brochures, posters, websites, business cards, magazines, t-shirts, logos, signs, menus and darn near everything in between.
This year, I was presented with the opportunity to help develop and design the brand identity for the number one advertising agency in Kansas City.

PlattForm, like a great many in our community, is doing what it can to help the people of Joplin. How can you step up? If you’re a PlattFormer, come to breakfast this Thursday, from 8:30 to 10:00 am. Tickets are $5 or five donated items (canned goods, toiletries, bottles of water, etc.) All proceeds will go to victims of Sunday’s tornado that devastated Joplin, Missouri.
Kudos to Team Phil and Culture Club for putting this charity breakfast together so quickly. But we’re not stopping there. Thursday also kicks off our supply drive. All items will be donated to Joplin.
