Career Advisor, a wholly owned subsidiary and sister division of PlattForm Advertising, is looking for Customer Service Representatives to join their growing team. Representatives at Career Advisor will be contacting prospective students and matching them with schools in their area that meet their specific interests/needs.
Essential Job Functions:
• Confers with prospective students by telephone in order to provide information about schools and the programs they offer.
• Exhibits the ability to effectively communicate with students through active listening and rapport building.
• Provides accurate information in a professional manner.
Requirements:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to read scripts effectively.
• Basic computer skills are required; you must be able to copy and paste text from one window to another as well as be able to navigate through a web based search tool.
• Able to sit for extended periods of time.
• Multi-task with a sense of urgency in a fast paced environment.
• Participate in company business in a positive way (positive coaching sessions, professionalism when speaking to students and co workers, etc.)
Required Work Hours:
• Monday-Thursday 12:30 -9:00pm
• Friday 11:30a - 8:00pm
• Part time evening shifts also available.
