The Media Analyst is responsible for the creation and ongoing analysis of performance-based reporting associated with local Direct-Response media buys. The Media Analyst works in concert with the Media Buyer/Planner to identify and act on performance data/trends with the goal of increasing campaign response and optimizing ROI.

Primary job responsibilities include:
• Acquisition: Assist in the acquisition of media kits, spot times, tear sheets and vendor information to effectively implement client media plans.
• Verification: Monitor media schedules and provide daily verification of planned media to support vendor reconciliations. Aid in resolution of billing discrepancies.
• Report generation: Creation of daily, weekly, monthly and ad hoc reporting.
• Data analysis: Continuous evaluation and utilization of real-time performance data and metrics.
• Communication: Constant communication with internal and external parties, primarily with respect to market/campaign performance.
• Collaboration: Ongoing collaboration with Media Buyers, Media Supervisors and other relevant stakeholders across the company.
• Research: Self-directed research efforts to uncover new media strategies and enhance the effectiveness of existing strategies.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or commensurate “real-world" experience
• High-level computer and administrative skills; expertise with Excel
• Familiarity with common media buying software and tools; STRATA, MRI, Kantar/TNS, etc.
• Strong quantitative skills, including analytical abilities and math proficiency
