The Media Supervisor is responsible for the oversight and management of a small team of Media Buyer/Planners working on local Direct-Response media buys, with an emphasis on Spot TV/Cable. Specifically, the Media Supervisor is responsible for challenging and growing his/her team and for the success of client campaigns.

Primary job responsibilities include:
• Coaching: Teaching, challenging and growing employees.
• Negotiation: Executing or facilitating negotiations with media-partners.
• Strategy development: In concert with relevant stakeholders, developing high-level media/marketing strategies that meet and beat client goals.
• Analysis and critique: Assessing and critiquing the quality of current media plans (decision-making) based on campaign performance data and reporting; issuing suggestions for improvement.
• Communication: Constantly communicating with employees, peers, managers and other PlattForm departments, typically with respect to campaign performance and opportunities for improvement.
• Management: Ensuring existing work processes/procedures are effective, efficient and consistently adhered to.
• Practicing PlattForm values: Helping to maintain PlattForm’s unique corporate culture and make PlattForm Media a great place to work.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or commensurate “real-world” experience
• 5+ years media-buying experience; experience with DRTV and/or Education is preferred
• 3+ years leadership/management experience; managing a team of direct-reports
• Strong background in client service: communication, presentation, strategy development
• High-level computer skills; expertise with Excel
• Familiarity with common media buying software and tools; STRATA, MRI, Kantar/TNS, etc.
