A conversation with Steve Booth, CCO

Steve has been loyal to PlattForm since 1997, and has seen the company grow from a handful of dedicated employees into a force of over 400. He provides oversight in the areas of human resources and the creative department, and describes his role as a champion of the culture and people. PlattForm’s philanthropic activities, our health and wellness program, company-wide events, and our own Culture Club are all successful because of his dedication. Essentially, Steve ensures that our company’s culture is a reflection of our values.

So it’s no surprise that Steve describes his journey through life as a direct reflection of his role at PlattForm: "I think of the people who have touched me over the years. That’s what the journey is about for me."

And unlike most PlattFormers, he isn’t obsessed with the latest technology. "I wouldn’t be upset if we lost all of it," he says.

He is most widely known for his cool collection of Superman and Batman memorabilia, some if which is on display in our superhero-themed conference room. This super-obsession has led some to suspect that Steve may be a secret superhero himself. One theory proposes that his eyeglasses hold the power of x-ray vision, while another suggests that he can telepathically communicate with the fish in his office.

And like most superheroes, Steve loves a happy ending: "The perfect day ends for me when I’m cuddled up on the couch with my wife, a bowl of popcorn and our dog." Enough said.
